Are you a living piece of scum? A total waste of this generation? Or are you worthwhile?
In this busy rash life, where dejection is painted on the faces of every third person you see, we often tend to hold back and just not swim actively anymore. This turmoil further on leads to a devastated state of being. Just being. Where you just exist. Barely. Read this article and rectify are you one of those who are indeed dead trapped in living bodies.
Here are a few things you do on a regular basis and the damning part is you consider them absolutely normal :
Waking up late - It’s totally fine if you are a night person with an actual job or actual things to look after, but… What if you’re not? Are you one of those who cry themselves to sleep after being awake till 2AM tracing and spying their ex’s or friends? You start with social media and end it after many hours. Is that the case fella?
Eating canned or ordering on a regular basis - It’s too hard to hold a pan, light the gas, chop some onions and cook some food, is it? Do you rely on takeout on a regular basis?
Eat, sleep and repeat - yeah boy you’re definitely in trouble if your current lifestyle satisfies all three.
Workout? What’s that? - eating all day, sitting on a chair, looking up on the laptop screen and just watching random shit Yea I know you do that!
Meditation? That’s bullshit - instead of getting up in the morning and meditating, the first thing you do is grab your phone and start scrolling the media.
Piled up deadlines with low motivation to proceed ahead. What is the point of me grinding when I know I am not gonna get that promotion! Oh dear, have faith in time, I trust you.
No true go-to friend in your list. Common let's agree on the fact that Humans are social animals and given the generation of today, I’d say rather social scavengers. They feed on conversations, trust, encouragement, love and care. I know it hurts you being so grumpy and sad, why not get out of that comfort zone a little? Yes, dear introverts, I’m writing this for you too!
Less water, Less greens - No but actually, jokes aside, Stop ruining your immune system. Get up and hug some water. Have some greens for dinner tonight.
Well I have shunned you with quite a lot of truths about yourself, haven't I? I really don’t believe in disgracing one another so I present to you some good alternatives to help you heal. They ain’t big, glossy changes but smooth and easy steps to approach the door of “Healthy me”.
So here is the list of things you can do to help your loathsome self get some justice in a fresh life. The exact same thing you have stopped living, LIFE.
Start with a single line - take a clean and spooky looking notebook and start filling it about your shitty life. If that seems too much to you, gp about writing a single line. One line per day. It will help you by wrapping you accountable to what all you have been doing the entire day. Seeing it will knock some sense of responsibility and shame in you and you will get up.
Adopt a book - make a target, read it before sleeping or during your break hours. Instead of chatting shit about others, immerse yourself with purity and peace of mind.
Walk, walk and walk - can’t go to gym? Don't have time to work out? Buddy, use your legs and start walking. Go down the stairs instead of the elevator, walk around the house and clean it in the process, walk to the grocery instead of ordering it at home.
Music to your ears - Feeling frustrated because of your stupid boss? Instead of a cigarette light a song! Make the melody bounce your mood and fill your lungs with emotions.
A To-Do list - make one, write even the tiniest things in it. It will help you remember things. It will remind you of the yet-to-be-done things. Go with, walking myself, walking the dog, cleaning the room, submitting the files etc etc.
Meditate - before or after waking up, your anger issues are growing wild these days, try meditation. For the Genz - get set with some lofi and just inhale and exhale, you’ll be fine dude.
Act of love - show it to the people you truly care about. A text to your mom expressing how much she means to you and how much you appreciate her, will bring a flush of joy in her heart. Cook for your lovely partner and say thank you for putting up with the silly you. Appreciation is the biggest language of love. Do it pal!
Smile - ain’t nobody cares more about you, so burn those fuckers with a smile. Glow pal, heal yourself, you’re not meant to be a coal, burn and be the next discovered diamond. Aight, Aight! Too much motivation… Just smile dude! You look good like a pigeon !
Learn something new - and I mean it in a very wide and colourful context. You don’t have time to toy around? Aight! Learn something related to your current job. What about those who are jobless? Learn a skill and get one! And those who want variety? Lear how to cook you lazyass! Stop ordering food! Save some money and invest it on yourself!
